The Helly Hansen Big Mountain Challenge on March 17th & 18th is IFSA Sponsored and featured on peak 6’s newest terrain. Steep lines, tight chutes, and big cliff drops are all in store for the thrill-seeking participants. This is an exhilarating and dramatic scene for spectators, as competitors show off their tricks and compete for points in the IFSA series.
Easter Weekend in Breckenridge

Properly scheduled for the day after the Spring Beer Festival is the Annual Chili Cook Off on April 8th. Located at Seven’s Patio on Peak 7, everyone is invited and encouraged to come sample the best chili this side of the Arkansas River. Vote for your favorite freshly prepared chili from our amazing Breckenridge chefs. Who will win the championship? The voters will decide!
Breckenridge Ascent Series Race
If you’re looking for excitement this spring make sure to hit up the Breckenridge Ascent Series Race #4, presented by Breckenridge Ski Resort and the Breckenridge Recreation Department. Come enjoy and watch two early mornings and two evenings of intensive timed racing. There are long and short courses with an ascent and descent of a section of the mountain, or just an ascent.
Breckenridge Closing Day
If you’re around Breckenridge for the resorts closing day, don’t fret… there’s still time for making memories! Sign yourself up for the Breck Plunge and see if you sink or swim. Gift Cards with various amounts will be given out for prizes. Breckenridge has a little something for everyone in the springtime, so come ski, drink, hike, spectate and enjoy the mountain town. The current projected closing day is Saturday, April 22nd.
